Please accept my prayer." She then prayed for an EXCEPTIONAL son, however she gave birth to a daughter. Allah(swt) listened to her prayers and gave her an exceptional son, who was exceptional because he had an exceptional mother (the daughter she delivered), who we know as Maryam/Mary (peace upon her).
